Whaler Bay

Looking towards Active Pass, this view of Whaler Bay, Galiano Island BC was a busy refuge for commercial fishermen seeking quiet waters during storms on the Straight of Georgia. The summer sun highlights the bleached beach logs. After touring the island, we rested here, feet dangling in the water and drinking up the sun.
